Parenthood is overwhelming and sleep is priceless. I can provide overnight newborn care in your home. I will guide you through the transition into parenthood so you can get some rest.
Overnight Newborn Care
Overnight newborn care provides both education and support to parents during the first few months of baby’s life. The Bon Bébé Doula delivers dedicated overnight care remaining by your baby’s side throughout the night to help aid parents in adjusting to life with a newborn. From one night to seven, the Bon Bébé Doula is here to meet your family’s needs. hands-on care for your baby so you can get some extra sleep.
The Bon Bébé Doula can help with:

evening bath and bedtime routine,

breast and bottle feeding support,

pumping education and tips,
-
newborn sleep education for healthy sleep
If desired your doula is available to meet all your little one’s needs during night wakings, including:

burping,

diaper changes, and
-
soothing back to sleep.
If you’re breastfeeding, a doula can support you through education, providing you snacks, and doing a light load of laundry while you feed your baby.
The Bon Bébé Doula will arrive at your home between 8-10 pm and remain throughout the night, working flexible 8-10 hour shifts. Your doula will cultivate healthy sleep patterns and attentively attend to your baby’s needs, including feeding, changing, burping, and soothing them back to sleep. The Bon Bébé Doula offers overnight newborn care services every night of the week, accommodating even as little as 1 night a week of care. The minimum requirement is an 8-hour overnight shift.
Postpartum Daylight Support
Bringing your baby home comes with joy and adjustments! Our postpartum doulas can assist with your baby’s care, light home care, meal prep, sibling care, and most importantly, support and care for you and/or you and your partner. Postpartum doula services can be arranged during the daytime hours or be used in addition to overnight care services.

Basic feeding doula support, as needed, and referrals provided when outside of our scope of training.

Physical and emotional support for birthing client and family.

Bottle-washing, laundry or cooking needs.

Care for infant so parents can take a break, nap, shower, etc.

Providing infant care education, help with baby-wearing, swaddling, etc.

Running errands for the family - grocery shopping, picking up diapers, etc.

Accompanying family to physician appointments to help with infant or siblings (useful for pediatric appointments with multiples).

Information, resources, doula support, and referrals provided, as needed.

Option to extend contract at any time.
Your doula is available to make sure you are also well cared for with light meal preparation, light household tidying, and grocery shopping, along with steadfast emotional support after birth. You stay in bed and bond with your baby, while your doula helps wash the bottle & pump parts, brings in the groceries and restocks the nursery.

Baby Preparation Assistance
Although they may be adorable and small, newborn babies come with a lot of “stuff.” By creating a cozy and nurturing space will help ease the stress and anxiety of navigating the early days of the babies arrival and make way for a space where your little one will grow.
